Acupressure/Shiatsu
Gentle firm finger-tip stimulation to specific pressure points to
balance and improve the flow of energy in the body.
Shiatsu
Developed in Japan, shiatsu is a finger-pressure technique
utilizing the traditional acupuncture points of Oriental healing.
Similar to acupressure, shiatsu concentrates on unblocking the flow of
life energy and restoring balance in the meridians and organs in order
to promote self-healing. With the client reclining, the practitioner
applies pressure with the finger, thumb, palm, elbow, or knee to
specific zones on the skin located along the energy meridians. The
treatment brings about a sense of relaxation while stimulating blood
and lymphatic flow. The benefits of this treatment may include pain
relief and a strengthening of the body’s resistance to disease and
disorder.

Lymphatic massage
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, rhythmical technique designed to
improve circulation, oxygenate the skin, and decrease swelling (edemas)
of the body.
This technique can reduce pain, swelling and inflammation of
the body's tissues and assists recovery from surgeries and injuries by
reducing formation of scar tissue.
The proper functioning of the lymphatic system is critical to the
body's ability to detoxify and regenerate tissues, filter out toxins
and foreign substances, and maintain a healthy immune system.
Lymphatic Therapy combines Dr.
Vodder's Manual Lymph Drainage Technique with the use of the
Lymphstar
Pro therapeutic instrument to decongest the lymph
fluid and dramatically enhance the results of the lymph massage.
